About Our Founder: Alicia Michelle

Alicia Michelle - Founder of The Koi Collective

Hi, I’m Alicia Michelle - founder of The Koi Collective, systems thinker, art lover, and peacemaker.

I grew up in South Florida, where weekends by the water with my aunt in Pompano Beach were my escape. That same beach is where I met my now-fiancé. It holds some of my most grounding memories, and it’s still where I feel most like myself.

Beyond business, I’m a mom, an anime fan, and a lover of classical music and art. I believe success shouldn’t come at the cost of your well-being. That freedom means choice - the ability to serve others, do meaningful work, and still have space to enjoy the life you’re building.

These days, a peaceful day for me looks like brunch by the water, a good charcuterie board, coffee in hand, and time spent with the people I love. It’s slow, intentional, and full of presence - the kind of life I’ve worked to create, and the kind of feeling I bring into my work.

I start each morning with devotionals and coffee (non-negotiable). I believe peace is something you create - on purpose, with care, and little by little.

My faith keeps me grounded, especially in the harder seasons. One verse that continues to guide me through it all is:

Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

That’s what I hold onto - especially in the moments where the path isn’t clear yet. And it’s what I hope to give to others: clarity, peace, and a way forward that doesn’t just look good on the outside, but feels right on the inside too.

Why I Do This Work

I’ve built a career helping people bring order to the chaos behind the scenes. And over time, I realized—what I love most isn’t just solving operational problems. It’s helping people breathe again.

Because I know what it feels like to wake up overwhelmed, to carry too much alone, to feel like you’re working nonstop but not moving forward in the ways that matter.

And I know the power of what happens when things start to click.

When your work aligns with your values.
When your days feel calm instead of chaotic.
When you can finally focus on leading - not just managing.

My own life has been shaped by choosing to break cycles, carve new paths, and build something more stable - more intentional - than what I grew up with. That’s what drives me: helping others do the same in their businesses and lives.

I do this work to show people what’s possible when you stop trying to keep up, and start building something that truly supports you.

Because peace isn’t a luxury.
It’s a strategy.
And you deserve a business that gives you both.

Here’s what I want you to know:

You don’t have to do it all.
You’re allowed to ask for help.
And no, your business won’t fall apart if you’re not in every single detail.

You can step back without stepping away. You can run your business with intention, not guilt. You can find a way of working that actually works for you.

That’s what I help with. I work with visionary CEOs and founders who are ready to create calm in the chaos—not by stepping away from the business they’ve built, but by building it in a way that finally supports them.

This isn’t about cookie-cutter templates or surface-level fixes. It’s about building a strong, clear foundation so you can scale sustainably—and lead in a way that feels like you.

How I Work + Lead

I believe business and life are deeply connected - and success comes from designing both with intention.

That belief shapes everything I do. Whether I’m working with a client or leading my team, I bring a grounded, holistic approach that balances strategy with empathy. I ask deeper questions. I look at the whole picture. I care about how things feel, not just how they function.

There’s no one-size-fits-all here. I guide every client through a process of simplification, alignment, and clarity - so the decisions they make are rooted in what actually matters.

Clients often tell me I make things feel calmer. That I help them untangle the overwhelm and see what’s really in front of them. That’s my goal: to help you lead with peace, clarity, and confidence.

What I Believe

Life is something you get to design.
You have the power to shape your days, your work, and your legacy in a way that reflects your purpose.

Struggle doesn’t define you - or your business.
Hard seasons happen, but they don’t last forever. With intention, you can create something more sustainable, more aligned, and more peaceful.

Growth takes grace.
This work is rarely linear. It’s layered, personal, and rooted in patience. But every step you take with intention moves you closer to the life and business you actually want.

Ready to Work Together?

My vision is simple: to help more people lead with intention, build businesses that support their lives, and create the kind of impact that lasts.

If you're ready to clear the clutter, align your operations, and grow in a way that actually feels good - you’re in the right place.

Let’s make it happen, together.
